We are pleased to announce the IEA Bioenergy Task 34 National Stakeholder Workshop, taking place on 1 July 2026 at BEST – Bioenergy and Sustainable Technologies GmbH in Wieselburg, Austria.

Organised within the framework of the IEA Bioenergy Task 34 network “Direct Thermochemical Liquefaction”, the workshop will connect Austrian stakeholders from research, industry, and innovation with international IEA Bioenergy Task 34 experts to exchange knowledge, discuss current developments, and strengthen collaboration along the bioeconomy value chain.

Participants will gain insights into the ongoing activities and international cooperation within IEA Bioenergy Task 34. The programme also includes a guided tour of BEST’s GreenCarbon Lab and pyrolysis facilities, interactive company pitches, and dedicated networking opportunities.

To conclude the day, participants are invited to join a guided walk through the Erlaufschlucht, offering an informal setting for further exchange and discussion.

All participants are warmly invited to introduce their organisation and activities during a short company pitch.
