At this year's conference of the World Society of Engineering Thermochemistry in Singapore (July 26–29, 2025), Achievement Awards were presented for the first time—including one for a researcher's lifetime achievement.

This special award was presented to Hermann Hofbauer, who has also been helping to shape the history of our company over decades and held the chairmanship of our Strategy Board for more than two decades. This recognition honors his outstanding scientific achievements and his tireless commitment to progress in the field of dual fluid bed gasification technology.

Hermann Hofbauer, who could not attend the conference in person, joined the meeting online to receive the Achievement Award and expressed gratitude for the honor.
